Röntgen is the coziest yet liveliest bar in Reykjavík.
Don’t take it from us. Reykjavík Grapevine has named Röntgen the “best goddamn bar” in town ever since we opened our doors in November 2019.
Maybe it’s because we keep things simple. We offer a warm atmosphere, friendly service and pleasant music. We mix divine cocktails, have a well curated selection of fairly-priced wines–including low-intervention bottles–and sell first rate beer on draft and bottled. Our drinks menu has excellent virgin cocktails and alcohol-free beers as well.
On Sundays and Mondays we foreground wine and cheese. On Wednesdays and Thursdays we invite the best music selectors to massage your eardrums with smooth but compelling sounds. Fridays and Saturdays see the energy levels raised, with our guests lacing their dancing shoes on as midnight rolls around.
